Neighborhood Conservation Program Review
The County is beginning a review of the Neighborhood Conservation Program, per the County Board’s action to adopt the FY2019-28 Capital Improvement Plan.
At its core, this review is expected to:
- evaluate how well the program is meeting its core mission
- explore opportunities for process and implementation improvements
- consider the potential role of innovation, and
- investigate ways to better leverage the program's civic engagement components
The review process, led by County staff and a working group, is anticipated to formally start in late 2018. Further updates and more details will be posted here.
Staff presented a draft charge for a future working group to help guide this effort during a status report to the County Board in September 2018. The feedback period for the draft charge has closed, and next steps will be posted here soon.
