1:00 pm-3:30 pm
Barrett Elementary School
Nearly 200 kids, teens, adults and senior adults kicked off the new Lubber Run Community Center design work session in February. Come see what we learned and help us move forward with the building design.
The wonderful ideas and feedback gathered from the community are being used to develop “big idea” design schemes, which the architectural firm VMDO, Inc. will present on Wednesday, March 22, 6:30 – 9 p.m. or Saturday, March 25, 1 – 3:30 p.m. at Barrett Elementary School.
Come to either Wednesday, March 22 or Saturday, March 25 to participate in the design work session. The sessions are the same! (We’ll provide free kid’s activities/child care at Saturday’s session.)
VMDO will facilitate this community discussion of design elements to help shape the building schemes. Everyone’s input is needed to hone in on the best possible options. Together, we’ll share about what we liked, what we didn’t like, and chart a path forward for the next Lubber Run Community Center.
Coming on Saturday and need free childcare? Please RSVP for free childcare here.
There’s still time to share your ideas on what you’d like to keep, toss or create at the new center…and where you’d like things to be positioned. Share your ideas here. Feedback will be accepted through March 10 so we can prepare for the March 22 meetings.
Please feel free to share this information and encourage others to sign up on the Lubber Run Community Center Project webpage to receive project updates.
