About the Project

Three site plan amendments have been submitted for the proposed redevelopment of the Boston Common shopping mall.

The first site plan amendment, filed in June 2014, includes façade and interior renovations, a new plaza and mews, and streetscape and garage improvements.

The second site plan amendment, filed as a preliminary submission in July 2014, includes the development of a new mixed use building with residential and retail uses.

The third site plan amendment, filed in August 2014, includes renovations to the office building above the Macy's department store.


The County Board hearing dates for these applications have not been set.  This page will be updated with additional details about the proposal and the public review process as they become available.
